Caprese Skewers

I found this recipe via Pintrest on Mel's Kitchen Cafe.  What a fun blog!  I was new to this blog and was so thankful to find it through Pintrest. I know I haven't mentioned Pintrest before but if you aren't pinning.....you need to be!

I know it isn't the best time of the year for fresh ingredients but these Caprese Skewers had Christmas colors and 3 of my favorite ingredients so I decided to make them anyway.  I LOVED them and they were so easy!  And.... they look so festive.  I liked them because you could make as many or as few as you would like.  Top with your favorite balsamic vinegar, balsamic dressing or even your favorite Italian dressing.

Please visit Mel's blog.  Her picture of these beauties is much better than mine as I took mine quickly with my cell phone just before serving!

Caprese Skewers

Cherry Tomatoes, cut in half
Fresh Basil leaves, folded or cut in half if too large
Fresh mozzerella in into bite-size pieces or look for the fresh mozzerella pearls
